Poetic Latitude

Murals

I sit in my room
Enclosed in barren walls
A look through the window
And I see the fall.

I hear the hum of breeze
Playful winds whistling through the trees
All that beauty nature can speak
Seen through a wall with one glossy sheet.

I turn around and see the wall
An abyss of silence fills me with gall
I lift my brush in muted violence
And paint them all to cease that silence.

I sit in my room
Enclosed in motley walls
Gazing at those alluring creations
Ignites an unbridled sense of awe!
